The United States Embassy in Poland has granted heavyweight sensation Artur "The Pin" Szpilka (16-0, 12 KOs) the proper visa to enter the United States, and he will be landing in Chicago this evening.

Szpilka had been denied entry on his first attempt to enter the country for his 10-round showdown against Bryant Jennings (17-0, 9 KOs) on January 25 in New York at Madison Square Garden Arena

Promoters Gary Shaw of Gary Shaw Productions and Leon Margules of Warriors Boxing are both breathing a sigh of relief, now that fight will proceed as scheduled.

I just hope Szpilka has enough time to get over the jet lag and the frustrations about all that's happened.

A week in a new country is fine to adjust, plus it's only a few hours. What are you making up excuses already?

lol! yep it's only an 8-9 hour time change so jetlag shouldn't even be an issue. the flight is 10-12 hours at most. he isn't flying from Australia to Chicago, he's only crossing the atlantic....

                  Great news!

If Spzilka can apply pressure the way Fedosov did and avoid Jennings big shots (I don't think Szpilka chin would hold up like the granite that was in Fedosovs) I can definitely see him getting the W or making it very close til the end, at the least.

But I don't see him avoiding Jennings power shots and I can't see his chin holding up... So I think Jennings wins via stoppage

Fantastic fight, two undefeated HWs so you better believe they will both leave it all in the ring... A lot to gain here from both Men!

I agree & this is a great matchup. I too see Jennings winning because of that reach & he looks like he can move. I love szpilka's aggression, southpaw stance & his style of fighting. he's never going to be in bad fights. even if he loses & doesn't quite make in to the top i'd love to see him fight guys like minto, Cameron, maddalone, neven pajkic, travis walker & leapai. all those would be good brawls...
