Gavin Rees showed the world how easy it was to hit Broner. He was never the future of boxing and never will be. He doesn't know when to stop the antics and I doubt if he'll ever be embraced by the die-hard fans of the sport. I re-watched the Maidana fight last night and Broner was getting hit with the same shots over and over again and never put his hands up.Comment

Like I said in one of my previous posts, which I got a green k with,
"Broner gets overwhelmed when he's on the receiving end of the pressure. His only answer to it is hug and clinch. He's not a counter puncher. He punches only when the opponent stops throwing. He needs to go back to his original division where he terrorizes everybody."
He simply needs more fights with various styles to come to a level where he becomes elite. His lack of experience showed in the Maidana fight. Paulie Malignaggi was right, and you can listen to his comments at the very beginning of the entire event. He described how low level Broner's opposition were and that the Maidana fight will be a test, etc.Last edited by brettWall; 01-17-2014, 12:40 PM.Comment

So Floyd is a roids cheat because he doesn't do OST year round, but Manny is squeaky clean because he hasn't failed a (regular commission) test? I see...
And FYI xylocaine (or lidocaine) is not a PED. It's a banned substance in some states, but "banned substance" and "PED" are two different things.
