Steve Kim's a little late, Danny announced on his Instagram a few weeks ago that he'd be returning in March

Is there going to be a Mathysse rematch?

Highly doubt it. Although it would be awesome. I'd like to see what Matthysse with two good eyes could do in a rematch.

I don't think Lucas Matthysee is out of the question but Lamont Peterson would probably be the choice I think if he gets by Dierry Jean. Otherwise he would have to be fighting a welterweight, or I guess Humberto Soto.

Didn't realise Matthysse went into the first fight with only one good eye??..

Not dis*****g the fact that Garcia won that fight outright. No excuses. And obviously DG had something to do with that eye, much in the same way Tim Bradley's ankle situation against Pacquiao was a direct result of being in the middle of a Pacquiao flurry. **** happens in boxing.

That said, I am curious as to how things may have unfolded if LM's eye didn't close up.

Gotta be Paulie. This was the "big plan" Haymon called him up for, feeding him to the new stars.

I would imagine Lucas being the victor in a very close fight. He was doing good early and ducking those left hooks like he was psychic before his eye closed.

Now Danny is a lucky fighter. He is nothing special but has shown that he is a solid fighter that is thinking in the ring. He is not robotic and has a good chin. He is a very under-rated body puncher

according to fetta, the undercard for the floyd fight will be worth it! since when does gbp ever put out a weak undercard? his words now mines.
