How do you think Mikey Garcia would do against the other 130 pound beltholders, Takashi Miura, Rances Barthelemy, and Takashi Uchiyama? This is assuming he gets past Burgos.
Mikey Garcia says he wants to unify 130. How does he do?

Maybe he could fight Miura or Uchiyama on one of Top Rank's Macao events. -
Well I don't know because he is having more trouble each time making weight. I believe he is very, very close of making the jump to 140. His performances will start taking major hits if he continues to drain himself. With that said, he should be able to beat them BUT I don't think it is worth it. There are bigger and better things if he just goes up in weight, it's beneficial to him in all aspects.Comment

He should just take the belts from the Japanese, move up.. by then Crawford should be a champion and more refined and they could make a unifying fight between Garcia and Crawford at lightweight.Comment

True. He's very deceptive. He seems slow and not particularly well coordinated or technical but he's strong and he knows what he's doing and what works for him. Like Golovkin said, the weight stuff is putting a big question mark over him for me too. He's definitely at least got the ability to crack into the top ten p4p type guys.Comment
