Why can't Andre Ward go up to light heavyweight and try to become a two-division champ?

He fought at light heavyweight in the amateurs.
Exactly, he should fight Kovalev in russia or Stevenson in Montreal

He said he was going up to LHW 2 years ago..... he already conquered the division and there's literally nothing left for him in the division unless he goes to England to fight Froch

If he continues to fight and beat the best at 168 that makes him a very good champion and he should not have to do more or fight above his ideal fighting weight.
To be more precisely: Ward was floored by Darnell Boone and fight was at 160, back in 2005.
Lately, with an interview, Ward said he would end his career at the heavyweights.

          He won't.
But I suspect he would rather travel to Philly... In case B-Hop still holds a belt when he retires.

Only if David Haye allows it, basically by staying out of the division.

These Ward haters make me laugh, hoping and praying each match that he'll lose, but it won't happen lmao.

Pretty much. Ward and Mayweather aren't losing anytime soon. It's just how it is.

Ward has been saying he is easily making 168lbs ATM, so I reckon it'd take at least 2 years to get to cruiserweight, if he makes it at all.

Add Rigondeaux to that list, but it's pity he is in such an underwhelming division. No fighters around to make him, a counter puncher at heart, look exciting.
