nobody will care about that fight after floyd beats him 12-0.
It also makes Broner look even that much worse when his "big brother" takes care of the big bully for him. It might be the biggest reason why Mayweather vs Maidana isnt happening.

No but he should move down and look for one of those straps. That's would I would do if I was his promoter.

I just think rematching Maidana is a bad idea.
How does one "cherry pick" world champions? How do you grab MULTIPLE world titles that someone already posseses (not vacant) and still be a paper champion?

So he's good enough to win a world titles in multiple weight divisions, but he still sucks?

What the **** is wrong with these people? Someone please tell me...

It's not a bad idea for us fans. I'd love to see Maidana - Broner 2. Who the ef wouldn't? It might not be good for Broner. But someone's gotta lose.

I'm kinda surprised Maidana is so resistant to rematching Broner. He gave him a beating. He could get an even bigger paycheck, potentially beat Broner up again, and then command even greater power.

Sheeeeyat bruh he'll probably be giddy as f**k. It's a win-win. Think about it...he already announced that he wanted the rematch and reportedly exercised the rematch clause. So it appears to the public that he had the nutz to actually get back in the ring with Maidana. And then Floyd swoops in and fights him, thus eliminating the rematch and saving Broner from getting publicly urinated on in front of everybody....again.

            Your logic is awful.

How does one cherry pick world champions - you pick the weakest of the bunch as theres plenty to choose from. A better question would be directed towards you, why can't a beltholder be cherrypicked?

How can you be a paper champion by winning a non-vacant belt - by defeating a paper champion by razor thin decision. You prove you aren't paper by beating the best, not winning some belt and claiming greatness.

Interesting, perhaps this is where the two end up falling out

it might be a bad idea for Broner, but what else is he gonna do right now? He can't even leave his house until Maidana let's him.

He can't have Floyd snatch that fight and beat Maidana,. and make him look even smaller. Then he wouldn't get anything from a rematch if big bro had to come in and lay a blueprint for him

and for Floyd, it's chess for him...hes old now. He shouldnt care about Broner, 100s of guys have fallen why he's been around so why care about this dude; who, to this point, hasn't listened to damn word of advice from him....

hell, he can X out someone who was coming for his spot. Take Maidana, beat him...and if he someday fights Broner, he will have some hilarious banter to go at him with.
