Garcia is the only $ maker of the pack you mentioned, as far as promotion goes. Garcia is out of the picture after his dad made it clear they are in no rush to face Floyd. They have to keep that "0". It is pretty much Porter and Lara who? As far as the paying public is concerned at least.

Goldenboy will be able to promote the hell out of this fight for Khan, highlighting his speed and footwork as well as his boxing skills. Both also speak english so the trash talk will reach a high, further promoting the fight, starting the promotional merry go round we are very familiar with in every mayweather fight. The fight is going to do big numbers no matter what any of the Floyd haters say.

Lara and Porter are GREAT fighters, but are not yet popular enough to help raise PPV numbers. Maidana is forced to rematch Broner. Maidana V Floyd would have been a very one sided fight anyways. It would have ended up looking something like Garcia V Matthysse if not worse. I cannot say the same for Lara or Porter. Both Great fighters that could pose a threat in the way they fight.

I think the choices are between Khan and Khan. Except no-one wants Khan. Khan's credibility has taken too much of a nosedive of late. But all the same I'm almost 100% sure that's who he'll pick.

Here's another interesting possibility (as its all GBP fighters). What if a deal is made for Maidana to fight Floyd (if Maidana drops the WBA belt) and Broner then faces Khan for the vacant title? Khan was WBA champ at 140 so they probably rank him highly...
