Remember that when Mayweather asked for OST testing back in 2009 before any other negotiations took place, all of Pacquiao's team said they had absolutely no problem with it. Then after all other negotiations were agreed to all of the sudden the OST testing became an issue.
I think this is when Ariza probably said something to them, because again no one from his camp had a problem with it when it was first brought up.
Also during the lead up to the 4th Marquez/Pacquiao fight, when Roach was yapping his gums about Marquez being dirty Marquez said he was willing to test as long as both fighters were testing. It was the Pacquiao camp led by Ariza who said it wasn't necessary. Ariza even came to the defense of Marquez and Heredia saying testing wasn't necessary.
That always seemed strange to me, but it makes perfect sense now.
