Why would Manny leave Arum, he's institutionalized in the TR prison at this point, he doesn't know anything else or probably want to, even if it benefits him. Manny's like that old con in the "Shawshank Redemption," Brooks Hatlen. Who upon being released from prison ultimately kills himself because he finds freedom to be a terror. He actually pines away for his time behind bars because in there he was at least thought of as an important man. Manny Pacquiao is the Brooks Hatlen of boxing, so no, he won't be breaking his contract with Arum/Warden Norton.

Lmao epic reference. Seems pretty spot on too. Especially if he signs an extension

What I don't understand about Floyd's position on this is if the idea is to hurt Arum, what better way than to take Manny out? If he would have done to Manny what JMM did, Arum could never rebuild Pac's name. That would have hurt Arum much more than allowing him to rebuild Pac with other fights, while keeping the idea of a Mayweather fight alive.

You're not getting it. Stop acting like Floyd's in any position to accept or decline a fight. Manny has a boss that authorizes all of his fights and Manny's okay with that. "It depends on my promoter," does that sound familiar? Bob Arum does not want that fight to happen, so what Floyd wants or doesn't want is irrelevant.

Arum saids he wants it. True or not. Floyd flat out saids no, won't do business with him. That's all we have to go off of right now.

Too bad floyd isn't trying to fight JMM or Tim, they left their promoter to get a bout with the #2 draw in the sport but Manny won't do it to fight the #1 draw. Even floyd left TR to secure a fight with ODH, then the #1 draw.

At least we know the fight is not happening so we can all focus on other topics.
PAC is not Tim or Marquez it's that simple. Tim was desperate for a pay day and Marquez, well where else is he gonna go lol. Like it or not PAC is still the biggest draw next to Floyd, can the same be said about Tim and Marquez?
