So you are not a boxing fan. Hate or love Mayweather, he is a great fighter. Why do I want to pay money, or tune in to hear **** talking?

I can turn on Jerry Springer for that. Mayorga is another sad example of a way past his prime fighter, scraping whatever he can to make a living. It's sad to see and it's not needed in the sport.

All Mayorga has is his mouth, there's more to him. He is like a dog barking with no teeth.

lets not forget those 2 great nights he had vs the late great Vernon Forrest. The 2nd of which came after he said he was going to punish Vernon for not getting him anything for Father's Day. Now that was vintage Mayorga and in those days he would back up his talk.

No, he had one good night against Forrest and then got a gift decision the second time around. And Vernon was never a great fighter.

I hope no one takes this serious. Chavez Jr. would destroy Mayorga at this point in his career and it would give the arrogant prick another false sense of self worth and greatness.

What Chavez needs is to be humbled. He needs to lose his next fight against Vera and more he needs to do it in front of a stadium with a lot of empty seats and low TV ratings. Maybe he will learn to take this sport more seriously.

Mayorga was done after he beat Forrest the second time. He was fortunate that Forrest didn't get his wild, unorthodox style, otherwise he would have been even less of a flash in the pan. All of the rest of the champions in his division but Fernando Vargas figured him out. A good boxer beats a wild brawler just about every time. Given that, his age and his size, he has no chance against even the slacker Chavez junior. As a matter of fact, this bum doesn't deserve a shot at ANY of the notable fighters of today.

This old gimmick of Mayorga's is beyond done, he has nothing left to offer as a fighter.

He's gonna have to wait until at least 8pm when Jr finally gets out of bed to roll one and eat some doritos.
