He was able to take most heavyweight punches, I don't see him getting hurt in this fight. The Jinks would catch Kov and put him away. His left hook followed by his left uppercut were so clever, unique, awkward, and powerful that few would have survived.

How is this even serious? Yes Kov seems damn powerful but he hasn't faced anyone on Spinks level and may never do so. I think SPinks drops Kov and gets a late stoppage or a wide UD.

Pointless thread. Redo it in a couple of years after Kovalev destroys everyone in the division.

You really think Kovalev wouldn't do more or less the same against the majority of those bums?

Spinks came at the tail end of one of the best Light Heavy eras ever but his division was still stacked and he cleared it out like it was nothing, imo Spinks is one of the most skilled boxers ever, dynamite in both hands, solid defense, awkward as fawwwk. Guy is a beast, like has been said isn't it a bit early to put Kovalev against Spinks ?, wait for him too clean house first and get even better then he is now.

The majority of the fighters in that clip couldn't even compete with the group Kovalev has beaten, though I understand it's a highlight video and his best victories aren't included save for the old Holmes.
