Bute used to sell out the Bell Centre (except for his last Grachev fight).

The truth, the Son of Dog Andre Ward ducked Bute big-time.

Showtime signed Bute to meet the winner of their Super Six tourney, which was Ward.

But Ward wanted nothing to do with Bute, who was on a roll at that time.

Sure, he later had a bad night against a wired-up Froch in Froch's hometown, but that has nothing to do with Ward's previous ducking.

If Bute can get past the early rounds, Pascal will gas out as he always does and Bute will emerge the winner, either by decision or late TKO.

That's a lot of people out to see a workout.

Hope Bute get back on the right path.

I would pick Bute all day in this fight IF he hadn't shown us just how bad his punch resistance is

Bute jumped to HBO at the last minute to avoid super six, he wouldve gotten creamed by Arthur Abraham so imagine Ward who beat Froch with a broken hand. Being a belt holder he was in line for Super Six and Showtime exec was grooming Bute to be a part by broadcasting his fites. For the record Ward has never ducked Bute. His team were yelling duck to Ward yet when he showed interest they signed a two fight deal with Froch???? Bute has never fought any legit opponent just look at his title defenses. He made cup cake defenses while "real" fiters were fiting each other in super 6. Froch fight was no bad night it was reality.

He packs a house big deal, it has no correlation with the level of opposition you fite its good promotion.

Ward only expressed interest in fighting Bute when he was about a month or so away from fighting Froch. Prior to that he dismissed the possibility of such a fight, stating that Bute had to "prove himself."

Pure duck move, regardless of how you spin it.
