He ducked outta super six and signed an HBO deal on the 11th hour even though he was in line to be part being a belt holder. BoxingScene articles to prove it. Racking up fruit cake defenses while Ward and Froch were having at it calling it a "career move".

That save he got from the ref vs Andrade in round 12 last 10 seconds of their first fight? Atleast those are my reasons. Call Pascal whatever but he has fought solid opposition or atleast better than Bute.

Bute by WIDE decision.

bute is fast and agile. He was a dummy against froch. wont make that mistake twice.

Pascal got out pointed and out worked by a 46 year old. what does that tell you? sure bhop is superior and fantastic but Pascal has no endurance, he is all fast twitch mm fiber, all quick burst and no stamina.

I'm looking at it from a style standpoint. I think that left uppercut is going to be a problem for Pascal. He has power but he is wide open for Bute's power hand all night long.

People won't shut up about Andrade I. Get past it I say. Plus I think 'fans' are jealous of all the packed houses he's fought to in Canada, making excellent money. Bottom line is, he has some excellent boxing skills. I give him a solid chance to outwork Pascal.

This is going to be a GOOD fight. Both guys really need this win to put them back in the conversation with the other top guys in and around the division. I expect a war. This is a 50/50 fight too. Both fighters have their strengths and weaknesses.

Nobody (OK, very few) hated Bute before the Froch fight.
One cannot easily contradict a public opinion.
(I also think he will beat Pascal -- but I'm biased because Lucian is may compatriot...)
