maybe comparing the mosey fights can give you some insight .. Canelo has never been a hard puncher let alone a k.o. artist maybe your basing his skills off of the guys he fought that were in the 135-140 weight class

Canelo has decent hand speed for sure but he's never been in with anyone even close to what Manny brings offensively with the speed and movement.
If Manny lost his chin altogether then sure I'd agree he may get caught and put to sleep but if he still can take a shot he wins easy.

This has nothing to do with how Pacquiao would fare though so......

Martinez fought Chavez and was probably 25 lbs lighter..
Canelo is 10x more skillful than Margarito and that was a washed up version of Margarito anyways

He didn't react to well to Rios' punches early, if Rios can put hands on him then surly Canelo can. If Bradley with messed up ankles can, then surly Canelo can. This is what prompted me to say 'get real. Canelo controls distance, he isn't gonna allow Pacquiao to befuddle him with movement because he's gonna take the role of counter puncher, press while maintaining a good distance and Pacquiao will likely feed into it. Pacquiao gets hurt, can't see it any other way.

Pac would either stop Canelo or win a wide UD.

Canelo has low work rate and stamina issues. He's flat-footed too. Pac's relentless combinations and speed would be too much for Canelo to handle.

I think you are overrating his "skills" a bit....his only good win was basically a draw against Trout who only beat a older version of Cotto.
I'm not saying he's a bum but compared to even this Manny Pacquaio he is in way over his head.

The funny thing about all this is, Margarito landed his share of punches. All of a sudden Pacquiao who's slowed some beats Canelo, good one

I respect your opinion but disagree. I see Canelo going into a shell by about round 8 because he's getting hit from all different angles and can't deal with it.
He's a decent fighter but skill wise he's not in Mannys league.
