Maidana isnt a great boxer, some new boxing fans were amazed at what he did to the massively overrated Broner - I'm guessing you are one of those guys.. You dudes need to learn about boxing.. I said Maidana would probably beat Broner and look what happens -- you know that type of thing after you watch boxing for a while and dont fall for the hype
Both are trash...and if Maidana is an easy fighter what makes that Khan? If its not too late to take you out your trollmind im begging you to think just for 3 seconds objective...is a guy with a belt at WW, a solid W over Broner and 3 KOs before that more deserving for this fight than a guy who never fought at WW, is 2-2 in his last fights with one loss being knocked out and one win where he looked like crap against ATG Julio Diaz and nearly 1 year inactivity? you should put that in perspective cause if you would do that you wouldnt post crap like this. I dont say that Khan is more crap than Maidana but he literally did absolute nothing to earn a shot at May.

Neither fight is competitive so i'd prefer the more deserving fighter a chance. Khan has earned enough from the little he has done.

Maidana, of course, is tailor-made for Mayweather, as hardcore boxing fans are well aware, and he would represent one the easiest fights of Mayweather's entire career. There's no doubt about this, with just a small amount of boxing knowledge it is an easily determinable, predictable and almost guaranteed fact.

On the other hand, Khan, who easily defeated Maidana himself and nearly retired him from the sport altogether, presents a much trickier style for Mayweather to dare to go up against. Opting for the ridiculously easy Maidana fight instead of fighting the guy who already put a beating on Maidana might be the final discrepancy on Mayweather's record before it would need to be seriously re-evaluated from an historical standpoint. Surely, Mayweather couldn't live that down if he fought Maidana? Lots of people said before it's like, or maybe even worse of a mismatch than, Pacquiao fighting Rios.

I don't want no people who don't know **** about boxing coming in this thread with your mindless propoganda, just the real boxing heads who know the real. Maidana is JOKE of a fight for Mayweather!!!
This post is a joke right ? If not, you made me laugh at least.
They're both easy fights. Khan wins a couple rounds and Maidana wins maybe zero.

He's earned the right to replace Glass Joe in Mike Tyson's Punchout.

The fight between Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana took place in 2010. Contrary, to your claim that Khan put a beating on Maidana. The fight was very competitive.

Recently, Maidana has accomplished more than Khan. Khan's last two fights are both basically comeback fights against an unproven prospect and a shot, former lightweight champion who had no chance of winning. Although, one of those hand-picked oppoonents managed to knock down Khan and hurt him.

In my opinion. There should be a rematch between Khan and Maidana. Winner gets to fight Floyd.

Well Maidana should be fighting Mayweather so...not sure how Mayweather could somehow duck Khan in the process. Khan deserves nothing at all...he's waiting to hit the lottery. Mayweather ducking Khan..... What drugs you on dude?

What the hell are you talking about?????? Only a few nutty Khan fans like you would be sad if Mayweather fought Maidana instead of Khan. The vast majority of fans on here on everywhere would be thrilled if Mayweather fought Maidana, who earned the fight by beating the hell out of Broner instead of Khan who has looked like garbage in his last three fights including being KOed in 4 rounds by a 140 pounder. Maidana has 3 good wins in a row over rated welterweights including 2 KOs. Khan has never fought a welterweight in his life let alone actually beat a welterweight. Nobody is ducking glass jawed Khan. Khan is the one who backed out of the Alexander fight for fear of losing and blowing the Mayweather fight. Mayweather should be ashamed for cherry picking unworthy Khan. The only good thing about the fight is that after Floyd beats him with complete ease and shatters his glass jaw Khan and his die hard fans will shut up for a week or two.

Hey Flatline, If you seriously believe most fans would rather see Mayweather fight Khan than Maidana just put up a poll. I'll bet 90% or better would rather see Maidana get the fight. The guy that doesn't know boxing is you. If Khan was fighting Mayweather right after he defeated Maidana it would have been a reasonable fight. That Khan is history and you can't see it. The Khan of today is just a washed up shell of the Khan of 2010. Today's Khan can just barely beat a washed up Diaz in England with some help from the English referee.
