This would be a joke of a fight, Gamboa is a featherweight who has fought at super featherweight and lightweight once against mediocre opponents and didn't even look good doing it. Now we're supposed to buy the idea that it would be interesting for him to jump to welterweight and challenge Manny? When I read the title of the article I was expecting it to be about Gamboa being placed on the undercard so I figured that would probably be a good thing if they matched him against Mikey Garcia, but I never expected this. We can't let promoters get away with this type of thing, they have to give us the fights we wan't because we are the ones that pay for them. If they want to put together bull**** fights that only they care about then lets all just not watch them and see who it hurts more.

As if GB doesn't release promotional gimmicks like these. If ever Gamboa was to fight Pac it would be at least two years away if Gamboa keeps winning. Just like Rios was when he was the hottest Lightweight in boxing. This is merely meant to fluff Gamboa's name and image.

You should know by now. Floyd does this all the time when he has fights. He keeps mentioning Pacquiao.

It really sickens me that they moved Gambo up from 126, where he was already small, and are trying to throw him in with bigger and bigger fighters. This is why Rigondeaux refuses to move up, they see how they are mistreating his countryman.

Who's they lol. A fighter moves up when he can't make a weight anymore or he wants to get bigger pay days in other divisions.

pacquiao really has no good options. The best out of what's available is bradley and it seems theyre trying to do everything but that.

The most telling thing in all this is Bradley seems to have Roach shook. Manny himself isn't scared, but Roach says it won't be an exciting fight. With the current selection or lack thereof why does that matter to him? He's just the trainer, he isn't running Roach Promotions... Since Manny 'beat' Bradley the first time why not snatch his title now especially if Manny wants to?
