Comments Thread For: Hearn: Great Chance of Froch vs. Groves Rematch in 2014

Promoter Eddie Hearn believes there is a "great chance" of a rematch between Carl Froch and George Groves taking place in 2014.

The two British super-middleweights were involved in a fight-of-the-year contender last November that eventually went the way of Froch thanks to a contentious stoppage by referee Howard Foster in the ninth round.

Groves - who put the reigning IBF and WBA champion down in the first - was fuming at the way the first meeting ended and has pushed hard for another crack at his compatriot.

NOBODY wants to see WARD play another time with this robotic fighter,WARD played with him with one arm last time,c'mon.....there aren't options out of GROVES;he has to move up like CALZAGHE did and fight BHOP/DAWSON to get schooled or KOVALEV/STEVENSON to get destroyed or rematch PASCAL/BUTE to have a chance.

Dawson school Frock? lol hahaha funny very funny and he stands a punchers chance against Stevenson I reckon he'd knock him out especially when you get floored by the likes of Bellew and Boone lmao... How embarrassing.

          Froch should fight Ward.
I believe the 2nd fight between Froch and Groves could actually be totally different. Groves really needs to up his work and also know how to deal with Froch's wild shots the way Ward did. Interesting fight all the same but I would rather have Ward fighting Froch. Groves should find a fight in Germany and take his time. He made his statement on Froch already so he can move on.

Froch isn't moving up, he's coming 37 and walks around at 172lbs.

              Good for Froch

Froch needs this fight.....it is unfinished business , a true 50/50 affair...There are more options for Groves at this point but Froch can NOT swerve this one.

I don't wanna see a Froch/Ward rematch but seems like a lot of people wanna see it, including Ward. Froch can also fight Chavez Jr.

There was no legit knockdown against Bellew. You know who else got floored by Boone? Andre Ward.

Eventhough Froch doesn't this fight, it is now the biggest fight for him in the Uk like it or not.
