I'm cool with Groves rematch...why do people want a Ward rematch?

GGG would brutalize the Froch that showed up to face Groves. He better bring his big (good) boy pants to that fight if he takes it.

You any less confident it'll be the next fight? Guess we'll have to see what Carl says to Hearn tomorrow but is it going to have changed?

I think Hearn is half setting it up as perhaps likely as the fight after the next one. Mind you, it's unlikely Froch would get Chavez, he has Vera lined up in March and talk of someone then in June (forget who). GGG had a fight in a couple of weeks and claims to want to clear out MW.

          I agree, Weebs.

I can't believe posters on here come out with such BS; Froch is not going to move up or down. He's at 168 until retirement.

            Fans aren't calling for it.

A rematch makes more sense for Andre than Carl, IMO. Ward earns a career-high payday and takes the IBF strap in a relatively one-sided fight. For Carl, its big money fight and a chance to avenge a defeat; he can go back to Groves after.

There's an extended video on IFL tv where Hearn says the only roadblock is the financial split, and how much Groves is asking for. On that basis it seems to me if Groves isn't too greedy the fight gets made.

Ah thanks man, do you have a link? If not I'll hunt it out.

If that's the case I reckon Groves will settle for as low as 30%. He probably deserves 40%. Regardless it's a slice of a bigger pie for the pair of them if they face off again - so should get done!

Hearn is preparing for the Groves rematch -- by mentioning all the other names he only intends to trim some of Groves' financial dreams... The rematch at a venue such as a big stadium in the UK is the only one which makes full sense...
