I never thought for a second Broner was anytihng special, just another Al haymon project, but I though he would win, even if the way I see it broner already had at least 2 loses. Every single reporter, comentator and trainer that the ring magazine listed had broner winning as well. He's fast, showed good resistance, but Maidana was too much for him. Broner against Paulie showed Broner isnt nearly as good as he and others think he is. Maidana just answered that question without a doubt.
Ferfal I thought you had picked Maidana....wtf

I saw Broner's mindset being trouble for a guy with the intangibles of Maidana... Add to that the fact Broner is largely stationary and the obvious improvements Garcia is working on, and it was a slam dunk Maidana pick for me.

Broner: Do what? And get my ass kicked again?

Mayweather: Lil Bro i will pay you to get your ass beat again. This Maidana is a serious mutha***a lil bro.

Broner: Who the hell you telling!!!! Did you see how bad he beat my ass?

Mayweather: Please man...i seen the ass cutting he gave you. I cant lose my 0. Look how bad everyone made fun of you. I cant afford that!

      Broner:
Alright big bro...stop crying. I will help you. Just make sure you and Al pay me good for this shlt.

Mayweather: SNIFF SNIFF...Thanks Lil Bro...I love you man!

Broner: I love you to baby! Oh wait.....

Only problem with this is, Mayweather advised Broner NOT to rematch Maidana and instead Move down to 140 and fight on his May 3rd Undercard. he's stated this multiple times on record and in interviews. I understand you want Floyd to lose, but stop with all the make believe from thin air. Thats for children. Aint Nobdy scared of Maidana, LMAO. He got Spanked by Alexander beat by Khan and went life or death with Josesito Lopez for 6-7 rounds. Floyd Smokes Maidana if it happens.

And I completely disagree - the vast majority of Mayweathers opponents in recent years are not known for their skill but known much more for being "tough" fighters - Hatton, Cotto, Guerrero and Alvarez have all ended up being completely outclassed - the power is irrelevant if can't hit your opponent. I'm not saying someone can out skill Mayweather but I do think a fighter with skill and speed will cause more issues than a flat footed brawler.
Amir Khan doesn't deserve the fight but that fight is a whole lot more interesting than the option to fight Maidana - ok there is the chance Khan could get caught early and the night will be over BUT if he doesn't the fight will be interesting, Khan is never in a dull fight and if goes to a decision it will be close! I'd rather the risk of a KO against Khan than a snoozefest against Maidana any day.

ugh.. I didnt see Cotto get outclassed. If i remember correctly Floyd was beat up pretty good in that fight and would probably suffer the same against Maidana.

I had Broner pegged to win the Maidana fight on skill alone. And I was wrong. But lets not act like Maidana didn't just beat a guy who was no where near the WW limit and not even in his prime yet ( an excuse I hear a lot about Floyd's win over Canelo).

Honestly I'd rather see the Khan fight for the speed factor alone. Maidana throwing caution to the wind and just going at Floyd, means nothing, considering that's something most fighters learn to overcome in the amateurs.

Then you don't remember the fight, you probably just remember the bloody nose. Cotto got at most 3rds in that fight, and Maidana is lucky if he gets that.

Pac-Boy's ******ity is unrivaled. He can't hear reason.

Maidana would do well to beat up Broner again than take a fight with Mayweather.

MM is nuts if he thinks guys are just fighting Floyd for the payday. Floyd gets in these guys heads so deep that they come in the ring ready to kill him and get discouraged when they can't hit him. The one who beats Floyd will get the huge paydays and might get elected as an honorary President of their nation. I know most of the folks posting in boxing forums would regard this person as a God. People think Pac fans are over the top. Just wait and see the folks coming out of the wood works to praise the one who beats Floyd. I'm telling you, you'll think it was the 2nd coming of Jesus.
