And again with the Guererro comparison.

    What don't you understand?

I'll try and make this simpler for you.

He only moves up from WW for big money fights. It's not his weight class. He's very small for the Weightclass. He moves up to Jr MW for big money fights. He's not going to move up for a fight that's not a big money fight.

At 147, that is not the case.

Therefore, the Guererro fight and the Lara fight, are not the same.
Soo, the Lara fight would not be ppv??

Canelo said he would fight Mayweather at 152 years before the fight happened. The weight a young growing fighter agreed to make years ago has nothing to do with a fight being currently negotiated. When the Mayweather-Canelo fight was being negotiated Canelo wanted to fight at his championship weight of 154 while Mayweather insisted he make 147. They settled on 152 because that was as high as Mayweather would agree to. The catchweight was 100% Mayweather's idea so don't get it twisted. Mayweather fought Oscar at 154 because Oscar called the shots back then and it was 154 or no fight. We all know today Mayweather is the money man and he calls the shots. Mayweather made a big speech about how he fought guys like Cotto at their best most comfortable weight but 152 is NOT Canelo's best weight. Mayweather won't fight Lara and most of us know he won't fight him. If he does fight him it will be at a catchweight of 152 or less.

Of course it would be on PPV.

What does that have to do with what was said?

Your point about Ghost would be valid if that was a jr middleweight fight. If ghost was a jr middleweight in a similar position as he was before the Floyd fight, do you think he gets the fight? I dont. He got the fight by being a ranked guy in Floyds weight class coming off a decent win. If ghost was a jr middle Floyd doesnt go up for him.

This is not a bad fight for fans.Lara would give Mayweather a harder go than Canelo did. & I was really on the Canelo fight.. Lara a slickboxer fighting the slickest of all time would make for a great night of boxing..NOT KHAN
