I know he's also at WW, he hasn't fought the best in that weight class either, has he? And do you really judge fighters based on how highly they're ranked? Do you not use your own eyes and brain to decide which fighters are the best?

Listen, Floyd is gonna do big PPV numbers regardless of who he fights. He always hypes up his opponent and stacks up the undercard. 'He's not a big enough name' is an excuse to not fight the toughest available opponents.

And what does a 3 time champ fighting at 154 have to do with 160??
dont give me that stuff about this isnt canelo's 1st divison. The dude was a teenager and super huge for the weight. He was never a WW.

What does 154 have to do with 160? Its the same thing. If he won a fight there you guys would say he needs to fight someone else there just like you are doing now. He is a 3 time 154 champ but he's also a 147 champ so he can campaign there if he wants, cant he? Why does he have to fight at 154? So you can get your fix?

Everyone keeps saying he's a 154 champ without aknowledging that he's also a 147 champ so how can you complain about him fighting there? If you want to strip him hten strip him but dont complain about it. BTW, your boy Trout got beat by Canelo. You said Canelo was now the best and Floyd needs to fight him. He fights him, easily wins, and now you are still crying and trying to attach yourself to another hero. AFter Lara it will be someone else. Your name suits you will

Lara hasnt proven that he's better than Canelo. He hasnt even proven that he's better than Molina

Realistically Mayweather will be like hell no am I fighting that, Lara isn't in the slightest bit damaged goods and his style would make for a hard night.
Ya he looked great against Vanes. It's not Floyd's job to promote Lara or make him a star. If you love Lara so much get your ass on a flight and start supporting his fights.

Hey, don't forget Cotto at 154 before that. That was another fight he clamoured for.

But apparently he was infact lieing then. But now he's telling the truth, believe him.

U.S. champions don't fight Cubans and "Soviet" champs.

And it isn't like Floyd is much of a fighter himself so this would be one of the most pointless and boring match ups that could be made.

Lara is a good fighter but he is nowhere near being a master at his craft. Angulo knocked this clown out 2 or 3 times (can't remember) for God's sake!!! And I love Angulo but come on, El Perro is as one dimensional as they come! (And I like them like that, come forward brawlers but I'm talking from a analytical unbiased point of view). If it wasn't for that eye which was a freak accident we wouldn't even be talking about Lara today.
Lara and Floyd are two overrated over hyped fighters.

I still think Khan is the toughest fighter out there....

                    Ha.

I like the idea of Lara vs Mayweather. lara is the biggest threat out there imho.

i think most people would find it boring as the styles wont creat fireworks. i would, but im not everybody.

How many real Jr MW's have never weighed in more than 151 lbs and come to the ring at 150 lbs?

He only fights above his weight (147) for big money fights. We know this.
So is it fair to say he's not the best 154 pounder in the world? If he only fights opponents at 154 based on how much money they're gonna make him instead of how good they are, surely it's unfair for him to be dubbed the best in that weight class?
