    He personally asked for Trout.

He was signed to fight Williams, supposed to fight Ortiz. Not too sure on the Kirkland fiasco.

This fight now with Angulo is dangerous aswell.
his title fites vs Ryan Rhodes, matthew hatton, lovemore ndou, shot baldomir, shot mosley, shot cintron, 140lb lopez may be dangerous fites in a parallel universe.

He deserves credit for Trout but that is the only damn win that stands out on his record. Angulo is the hardest puncher hes fiting after all those fites.

Canelo may want to fite tough fiters but ofcourse his team doesnt want it as hes a cash cow and they wanna milk it to the max, but even then its about the fiter as his team works for him not vice versa.

Irondan was talking about how he has tried to land dangerous opponents like williams, ortiz, kirkland, but for one reason or another they didnt happen. He wasnt trying to say that guys like hatton, rhodes, ndou etc were dangerous..

Thats revisionist history now that trout got schooled by lara,, but going into the canelo fight, trout was undefeated champion, who had just clearly beaten cotto,,, Trout has good skills n size, and was a legit threat to canelo, and he almost pulled off the win vs ginger

I would have respected Alvarez more if he fought Lara, not the guy who was stopped by Lara..

I wouldn't place Ortiz in that same category. That would have been very easy for Alvarez.

As much as I hate on Alvarez, he has never shyed from tough fights. People need to learn the distinction between who a fighter wants and who their promoter makes them fight. Very few fighters have the power to tell their promoter "no."

From what I remember, Alvarez's team wanted Molina. A tougher fight to look good in than Angulo, but far less punishing, and almost a guaranteed decision win.

And after he beats Angulo he'll say he beat the man who dropped Lara twice, right?

Who would really be completely shocked if Angulo beats Alvarez really? Raise your hand so we can collectively laugh at your ass.
