He is recognized by everyone as one of the most avoided fighters at jr mw for a reason because he is. Canelo is not even top at jr mw right now the only reason Lara fans want to see him fight Canelo is not only to win but to get that paycheck the only semi-legitimate reason you mention they can use to avoid him is the fan fare but that wasn't an issue with No doubt no one knows trout then Canelo was so big he could fill a stadium at mars by himself. Belts dont mean **** in boxing anymore if you haven't been paying attention. In my opinion Lara should Fight Molina then when Canelo grows some hair on his balls and gets over the mental trauma floyd boxing lesson gave him then he should get a shot at Lara if it was all about showing who is the best, but I have my doubts Canelo would fight him even then.

Whatever path Canelo and his team had for himself were disrupted by P Williams unfortunate accident. The kind of experience he could have had by might would his resume in a diff light but stuff happens. That sidetrack brought him to floyd first, but has probably stagnated his advancement as it relates to Lara's advancement ( don't discount the lessons Canelo can learn from Floyd,but it seems Lara has come into his own first)

to me this is the type of fight he would have taken on before Floyd would have really helped him - his offense is stuggling right now. Angulo (and Williams) would have itaught him how to fight in desperation ,just like Lara has learned in his two fights against those guys. Maybe Lara never stops Perro if not for the Williams experience... he is the better fighter for sure, but there are better ways to win fights at the pro level and he knows that now.

so it's all a progression with the youngsters, this fight will be good and the atmosphere excellent

People who disagree with you arent trolls. Its not Lara's fault he knows not to get hit or that most boxing fans wouldnt even know how to throw a right cross let alone box to appreciate him.

"Lara cant sell, hes boring" is ok cuz Canelo can fite his compatriot Carlos Molina who also holds a belt, but Canelo will get ruined by Molina and even if he wins IBF aint gonna let'em fite Giovani Segura you know it'll be against 154lbs fiters.
