Who is this f@g?? R u serious?? Broner walked to that ring wit 100 n!!gas and left wit 2...1 of which was holding his hand lol...he's a lame non talented fighter! I personally would have respected him had he stayed and D's his post fight interview and been more classy...admit that maidana was the better man that night but he tips his hat off to him and would like a rematch...instead he ran out the ring like b!tch...no respect what so ever!!
As quite a few people mentioned here...y didn't he rematch others like malignaggi or ponce de Leon?...he's a coward that's it...that's all...f?ck u mean broner for president??
Hi sir..
It seems the majority of you lot, consider personality and etiquette/behavior/presentation a dominantly deciding factor in appreciating a fighter, really funny. I do agree staying in the ring holds some weight. In the end he payed his respect to Maidana in front of the camera the same day before going to the hospital.
It seems a lot of peeps on forums want fighters to be role models or something. To me if he isn't applying for congress/senate i'm cool with the clowning. To me it's all branding/entertaining/promoting ya know letting the people know a fight is coming and creating more interest, the world needs heels.
I honestly don't consider him an evil dude, he is just trying to have fun with the celebrity status he has earned. as long as in the end i'm entertained, it's all good.
sports peeps or artist to me don't have to be perfect peeps who i can 100% relate to for me to enjoy their work.
I can see some of you peeps are salty as F all day 24/7. He has showed his respect for maidana's victory multiple times now.
About the rematch, their is no being nice or reasonable or deserving, it is about having the RIGHT CONTRACT. It's rare to see a fighter just being nice in the sport of boxing. Manny Pacman is the exception partly(Marquez 1,2,3,4) and see what he gets back from marquez(marquez is mexican=PPV money)...
Broner for President:-)Comment

i think ppl try too hard to discredit the guy. its one thing to not like him, but to make fault with him for doing something risky and dangerous is absurd. i honestly think its a bad idea. but if thats what he wants to do, he shouldnt be getting called a coward for it. thats ass backwards.Comment

i'm very surprised at the hate being thrown at Broner for forcing a rematch.
He could go down to 135 and beat anyone probably. He could get a belt in many different alphabets or divisions, but he's going to try conquering the beast known as Maidana.
The dude got his ass beat, and he's going for seconds. For us boxing fans this is the best thing possible, imo. It's going to be such a compelling fight, and I just gotta reiterate, as someone who doesn't particularly like or hate Broner, if he takes dangerous exciting fights, I will definitely like him.Comment

I still hate that mofo but I can't blame a man for trying to get his rematch. We all know though that if he beats Maidana, the possibility of a 3rd fight is slim in my opinion.Comment

Not so sure. I'm pretty sure maidana will request a rematch clause and if he doesn't that would be ******.Comment

Not one bit. I would have respected him if he had shut up, put the time and effort needed in becoming better, take one or two fights and then go challenge the rightful champ. Win or lose, that would have gotten him my respect.
But 4 months? He cant possibly improve what he needs to change to win.
He's just a fool thinking he can STEAL the belt back through a bought ref. and judges.Heck, maybe he gets lucky and does just that, or maybe he get destroyed for good. But there's no way he can improve what he needs to really change in just a few months.Comment
