Didn't your respect for Broner grow after forcing a rematch?

Yes. But I would respect him more if he'd given Paulie a rematch.

The again, Paulie should have been smart enough to include a rematch clause in that contract.

Don't be fooled by any supposed "bravery". He must beat Maidana to repair his career and make the fans dismiss the first fight. Without the rematch, it's a much longer road to fixing the damage his image suffered.

True. He's taking the shortcut. He beats Maidana and people are supposed to forget about the first fight. He's lucky to be given the chance, which most don't get.

You don't just get respect by making ****** decisions with your career.

You respect him for leaving question marks over Fernando Quintero, Daniel Ponce De Leon and Paulie Malinaggi?
I see Broner as a fighter lucky not to have 4 defeats on his record.
            This is the truth!

I can't believe so many people are going for this hype job...

Respect has nothing to do with it. Bronner was scared and running most of the fight. Thing is though Bronner believes that if he avoids Madianna and cries at the right times, maybe even lands a few punches....that the judges will raise his hand. And why not? he has lost countless times (see above post) and had his hand raised.

Bronner has no intention of trying to fix a few problems and let his hands go more.....he is hoping to avoid a knockout/knockdown and avoid Madianna. Then he assumes he will get the nod as the champion and the way boxing is he just might!

All this shows is that he is still the same ignorant fool that he was before and didn't learn a damn thing.

Everyone around him told him to move back down and regroup, and he thinks he knows better than everyone.

He probably has himself convinced that he just had an off night, that it was a fluke, that he ate a bad taco, that there was something wrong with his shoes, anything but he has to learn and change to grow as a fighter.

He is an idiot. He doesn't learn. He never will learn. This decision will likely be the end of him being an A side fighter.

                Really?

First off it was a split decision.

                It was a close fight

Paulie was not hurt and didn't he outland Bronner? I don't remember the punch stats.

hardly a clear victory. Besides Paulie did pretty much what he said he would do. Bronner did not do what he said he was going to do.

Oh and Paulie being the champ should have gotten the nod...The powers that be are fostering this bigheaded mongoliod looking ****bird on us probably because he is Al's b1tch. Lucky us.

LOL trying to make broner out to be some noble warrior. He only wants the rematch because hes butthurt and his ego is absolutely crushed.

That only makes sense if u assume its a forgone conclusion he wins which it isn't. This is a geet dangerous move. Sure its a shortcut. But the other route is certainly safer. I don't get u guys. I know u hate the dude but at least make sense about it.

Thats exactly why most fighters would want a rematch. I'm confused as to why this is shocking.
