I don't know why Maidana should be under pressure to rematch Broner

If it was the other way around, if Broner won, Broner would have never ever fought Maidana again. No rematch period.

Maidana should look for other fights. Keep Broner on the agenda, but now he can take other fights as well.

I don't know why anyone would put pressure on Maidana to rematch Broner but it is a big money winnable fight. Getting abused and embarrassed by Mayweather for 12 rounds won't help his career at all.

That is the biggest money fight for him right now where he can actually win...why would he not take it???

EVENTUAL rematch. The clause doesn't require immediate rematch just within a set amount of time. They are trying to shove this immediate rematch stuff down Chino's throat and he doesn't need to acquiesce. He still has options.. Mayweather can still tab him, or they can pick another fight if they think it's just as lucrative or advances Chinos career better.

Pay your bets and maybe we'll allow you to bet on Maidana in the rematch.

If broner has a rematch clause, then he is entitled to a rematch.
Anyways, outside of a Floyd fight, this is the next big thing for Maidana.
Just make sure he gets some demands in, like bigger purse or broner to address him as papi throughout the press tour.

So the contract is not an immediate one? How did you know that info? If so then Maidana doesn't need to say yes to it.

Its called a contract...there was a re-match clause. You sign it, you do it.

Why do people keep saying this. Broner was the champ and money maker. Of course he wouldn't give Marcos a rematch if he won. Just like how Garcia isn't giving Lucas a rematch. Garcia was the champ and money maker
