Ishida gets bombed out at heavyweight the first time he fights a real fighter in a real fight.

Ishida will do like he did Kirkland with Wilder & Fury. Count on it.

Putting on weight is relatively easy if that's your goal and you know what you're doing...if he'll be effective with it? Who knows but probably not. I've been as low at 147 at 6'1" and currently 196. Losing weight is far far harder than putting it on....just ask Roy.

I just remember who I felt won, not so much the action.... but to be honest, I'm not to high on Brazilian boxers. Haven't really seen any that've impressed me so far, but Falcao might change my mind.
I might revisit some of his AM fights when I have time.
And yea... I am pretty high on Korobov. Talented fighter that despite with the TR backing, is moving very slowly. I heard it's his father that wants the slow pacing...but dude isn't moving fast enough at 30+
We all saw him as a Top MW champ a couple of years ago.....he's nowhere right now
I might need to check his AM fights as well. Like you, I generally am not too impressed with Brazilain boxers. Definitely need to revisit the Murata-Falcao final. My memory is very cloudy of that fight.

Korobov clearly has skills and with the right stage I think is ready to display them. He's just been moved sooo slow it's almost impossible to judge his actual talent level at this point. Hopefully this year TR makes their move with him.

              Nice news on Falcao BTW.

For me Falcao and Murata were the highlight of the Olympic boxing IMO. Both had a style I felt could go Pro.

Murata brought it to you and kept throwing. Rugged type.

Falcao had speed and pop and was a busy ish fighter.

                I liked both.

If you like Murata you need to see him in the 2011 World Amateurs. His loss to Khytrov in the final is an AMAZING fight!
