He waited, and waited, and waited, hoping Boner would take a rematch with Maidana so Floyd wouldnt' have to answer those questions why he took a lay down fight, as opposed to Maidana, who just beatdown Floyd's butt buddy. Now enter Khan-job, sell him as a great, fast, electric fighter that presents problems, like this is 2008. This is for nothing more than an easy payday off a huge UK fan base. Pacquiao has waited 5+ years. Provodnikov is available, and he beat down Bradley, beat down Alvarado; why wouldn't you fight Provo then??? Could have chosen Bradley. Could have chosen Shawn Porter who just beat up Alexander. Could have even called out Danny Garcia. Floyd doesn't have any hesitation signing contracts with lesser fighters than Pacquiao... he just has trouble signing to fight Manny even after Pac agreed to all Floyd's terms. A lot of people don't know this but Khan beat Judah worse than Matthysse or Garcia came close to and Kotelnik in a way that would make Alexander confused (didn't Alexander dominate Maidana?) and beat this other guy, I think his name was Maidana...Do people not know Khan? Floyd could have chosen Maidana as his next fight before Boner said he wanted a rematch, and Marcos would have signed in a heartbeat. The fact remains, Floyd had a chance to offer a fight to Boner and chose not to. Maidana is much more dangerous that Khan. Khan is like a glass jaw Paulie Mags. He has NO power, but can't stay off the canvas. The only risk Khan-job proposes is when he falls to the canvas again, and lands against Floyd's knee tearing Mayweather's ACL. So get over your UK-self thinking Khan is a credible opponent. Not even close. Forget all this Top Rank, GBP, Mayweather promotional crap.... if Floyd wants a fight, he can sign with anyone regardless of promotional ties and make a fight happen... Getting rocked is completely different from being knocked down and knocked down easily. The Alex Ariza version didn't even see a canvas, no matter how much he was rocked.

Today's Khan, without Ariza, gets knocked down easy within four rounds.
