That said, he probably could win a rematch if he just actually learns how to stick and move instead of sitting in the pocket with his whack ass version of the shoulder roll defense.
        Yeah the Berto Roll lol

the guy doesnt know how to make adjustments. the people he was beating, he was just bigger and/or used his athleticism. He also seems to be a plodder.

The funny thing is, as much as I enjoy watching Maidana, he's not that great of a fighter. He'd probably lose to Floyd,Manny,Bradley,Thurman,Providnokov,Marquez,an d maybe some I'm not thinking of at 147... What a loaded division though damn!!!!

Unless Broner dramatically improves his defense, footwork and overall skills and abilities in the next few months then it doesn't matter how "focused" he is he's not having an easy time with Broner. Said before the first one and the same applies here. He has too many flaws that Maidana will exploit to have an easy time.

And the fact he has to be reminded to be "focused" tells you all about him as a fighter.

Broner's output was what lost him the fight, he didn't throw any damn punches in the first two rounds which gave Maidanna confidence to go wild and not worry about anything coming back.

Broner's biggest chance is to actually take control early, throw punches to keep Maidanna off and frustrate him but we've all seen Broner sits and picks his shots way too much and that will be his downfall again.

I thought Roy Jones downfall came when his focus became split between boxing, acting And rapping. Happens all the time..boxer does a movie or sum other non-boxing venture, comes back rusty and gets beat. Focus and dedication to your craft is essential. Keeps you sharp. Broner went on a rap TOUR for Christ's sake. Naked heading strippers, wilding out, partying too hard. The loss was the best thing to happen to him.

I remember Malignaggi mocking him for claiming he didn't work as hard in training for the Paulie fight but worked his a** off to fight Maidana.

The question is how focused are we talking?
