this is a typical marquez tune-up kinda fight. i'd bet anything he will fight the winner of pac/bradley for the title. even if it's pac. he badly wants the belt.Comment

Ruslan would like to have a word.
At least beating Provodnikov will give him better leverage in asking for the Bradley rematch.
Instead of sticking with the, "I got robbed" angle, he'll be able to rock a shirt that says something like, "look what I did to the guy you went life and death with."Comment

No, I don't think so. Marquez has said that if he doesn't get Bradley rematch, then he is retiring. Marquez is fighting for legacy, not for money. Bradley doesn't seem to be showing interest in Manny, so I think the rematch with Marquez is likely. Manny and Provo seem to be on a collision course based on some recent statements made by Roach. I must admit, though, Top Rank does not have many lucrative fights at 140-147. Bradley, Manny, and Marquez rotation seems to be the most appealing. Provo, I believe, might be a bit overrated. Rios and Alvarado are not world class fighters, so wins over these guys doesn't really say much about an elite level fighter. Elite level fighters wouldn't get motivated for those kind of fights, anyway. Marquez has no reason, or motivation, to fight guys like Provo, Rios, or Alvarado. Manny against Provo is alright, I guess.Comment
