Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that Adrien Broner (27-1, 22KOs) has exercised his rematch clause to get an immediate return fight with Marcos Maidana (35-3, 31KOs). Schaefer has placed the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on hold for April 19, or the fight may go to Los Angeles on April 26. Both dates are Showtime Championship Boxing cards.
