There was a rematch clause (Broner/Maidana). Schaeffer made a mistake

I would think if Floyd really wanted the Maidana fight some step aside cash could be given to Broner. That rematch would be there win or lose for both fighters.
All three are managed by Haymon so it should be easy to work out.
Don't think it matters as Khan is clearly the guy for Floyd in May.Comment

Maidana doesn't seem to keen on a rematch:
Marcos René Maidana @ChinoMaidana 3m
Mi fight w/ @AmirKingKhan was great & close (114-111, 114-111, 113-112) & Cortez was the ref! I've chased Amir for 2 yrs and they hidden him
Marcos René Maidana @ChinoMaidana 2m
Amir never gave me the rematch. NOw I beat the s...t out of @AdrienBroner & they want me to give an immediate rematch!

Why did Maidana agree to a rematch clause against Broner, but not against Khan?
So this is everyones fault except for the one who doesn't read what he even signs? Maidana is a dumb, he's not smart or saavy. He signed the contracts. If there was a rematch clause, we would've seen Khan - Maidana II.
And gimme an effing break, Maidana shat himself when he had to fight Bradley, and Maidana has ducked tons of fighters other than timmy.
Khan whippped his ass for 9 out of 12, an dropped him on the canvas. Get over it Maidana. Broner got some experience under his belt, I hope he pops El Chinos head like a g****.
Khan is going to give FLody the toughest fight he has had in years. But ya'll are too dim to understand this.Comment

"There was a rematch clause (Broner/Maidana). Schaeffer made a mistake"
It looks like they have about 1,000 belt fights per year and that's why they make mistakes and forget about rematch clauses easily -- there are too many belt fights.Comment

Golden Balls never listen to little people like Maidana.
They listen to what they perceive as cash cows.
So I can understand how Maidana feels about the
immediate rematch with Broner. It's an insult.Comment
