8 time world champion in 8 different weight classes - no fighter in the history of boxing ever did that!
Most humble boxer.
Never underestimated his opponents instead praising them after they got beaten.
Perfect punching power, speed, footwork and angles.
And lastly never afraid of anyone!Comment

In ten or fifteen years time, and you are talking to someone fairly new to boxing, you will have no problem telling that person to watch Manny Pacquiao's fights. Pretty much any of them. I don't really know of any Pac fights you would bore someone with.
His career from beginning to end is an entertaining story. He's one the most exciting fighters ever to watch. No one has an offense like him. He might not stop everybody but he definitely hurt everybody.
There has been no other fighter that I have ever been a bigger fan of. I've had other favorite fighters over the years, but no has delivered like Manny. First time I saw him was when he fought Ledwaba on an undercard and stole the show. Been a fan since. Then when he ripped thru Mexico (, especially Barrerra, who had beaten Naz( who was my favorite at the time) handily,) he pretty much locked up being a hall of famer there. Then he jumped up in weight again. While he stopped knocking people out as much, he was still hurting them bad.
His biggest loss was a huge highlight punch in itself. JMM dropped him with a perfect shot. A shot he probably dreamed about landing. Marquez wanted that punch more than anything in the world and worked harder than he ever worked so he could do it. If he had taken a beating from Marquez, it may have tarnished his career more, but when another great fighter lands a great shot, that's boxing.
So yes, Manny is an ATG.
Most exciting fighter of his generation by far.Comment
