And this is why boxing is the 10th favorite sport in the US. Sometimes I wonder how people like me allow it to even be that high. Calling it a sport at all is even questionable.

The junior middleweight match between former world champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Alfredo Angulo could possibly have the vacant WBC world title at stake, according to the sanctioning body. The fight has been finalized for March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Whether or not the title will be at stake is fully dependent on the current champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who captured the belt with a twelve round majority decision over Canelo on September 14th.

You know what this means? Floyd gets 'step away' money to vacate the belt.
