I don't know, Danny can lose at any time. I mean seriously, he hasn't exactly dominated anyone. Ruslan isn't going to crumble either.

Seriously I was shocked. I now give him all the respect he deserves. Hes part of the future of boxing when Floyd and Manny retires.

When was the last time Garcia fought a pressure fighter like provod? lucas not really a all out pressure fighter like RP. lucas don't like to get hit completely different animal than prov.

I'm not praising RP I just think his foot speed and ability to cut of the ring is far more superior to LM and posses a serious threat

If he proves me wrong hell go up even more in my book, he's definitly getting there. but it's not like he can retire after beating Matthyse. He still has a lot of flaws.
I agree. Danny still has a ways to go and Ruslan is more of an offensive pressure than what Garcia is used to. But Danny has proven to be a step above these guys. Lucas Matthyse, Broner, Provo, all B- fighters. Danny's a solid B, and a win over either 2 out of the 3 would enhance him even more. It's just time for fight fans to stop disrespecting this kid. He can fight.

Alot of people here are not taking into consideration Danny's great timing and his crushing body shots. Go look at the matthyse fight, matthysse's chin was able to take danny's punches when danny didn't load up, but go look at the body shots danny landed. He literally froze matthysse for like 5 seconds with some of those body shots. That's what hurt him BADLY right before danny put him down. The way matthysse went down was more of a collapse due to body ache more than it was the shots to the head. Danny has some ridiculous strength, he is much faster than ruslan, probably just as strong believe it or not, and has some good power whenever he loads up those shots. Probably one of the best power punchers when he loads them up with tremendous force and speed, in combinations. A little bernard hopkins'ish sorta.

EDIT: Plus, look at danny in every fight. He say's he adapts but so do many fighters that really don't do, they just say they do or like to say they fight everyone different but in fact they don't. Danny is one of the few that actually does do it. That's why hes a pound for pound fighter. Just like mayweather, just like bradley, just like hopkins.

Someone like marquez for example, deceptively makes you think he fights every guy different, but in fact its almost always the same gameplan. That's why he got schooled vs mayweather, and vs bradley. Danny is much more versatile than bradley because hes got much more power than him and deceptive speed. Not to mention danny's very underrated defense. Matthysse just wasn't able to hit danny with his best punches because danny didn't allow it.

Of course the smart money is on Danny but if Provo could somehow find a way to turn it into a fire fight the same way he did with Bradley...he might decapitate Danny in front of a live audience. It damn sure ain't an easy fight for Garcia.

So Danny doesn't have power and chin because he was the only person to ever drop Matthysse and not get dropped by him? And Provodnikov has more power than Matthysse??

                  made my day lmao.

You're right. I got confused because of Ruslan's fight with Bradley.

I've no doubt that DSG would land and hurt Ruslan, but I ain't sure how it would go with Danny if Provo just kept walking through and piling on the pressure. See - now I'm thinking Danny by UD.

F#kkit - usually the ones I can't call turn out to be the best fights, shame this one probably ain't gonna happen.
It really is a shame. You never know how a fight will pan out, but this could be legendary one. Ruslan hits like a wrecking ball, and Garcia has power too but people think less so, but he would certainly compensate with his superior boxing skills, and they both have incredible chins.

Garcia proved this by taking a couple flush punches from Lucas, and also from the beating Khan was giving him for two rounds, before he turned the table on Khan and demolished him.

The only thing is, the Zab Judah fight concerns me. Garcia should've been able to put him away, but as the old cliche goes, styles make fights. And Provo just doesn't seem to quit going after his opponents.
