Regardless of the wider implications, I hope this rematch gets made.

Watching Maidana bully Broner over 12 rounds was one of the best things I've seen in boxing. I'd have them fight at least once a year until Broner retired, it'd be hilarious.

I watched the Box Nation broadcast on YouTube and one of those guys had the fight even after round 7. I think this distorted judging is sometimes a psychological thing. Broner was the star and entered the fight as the massive favorite. They call it "selective perception": you pay attention, perceive and record what you are predispose to see.

Good post... as you can see.. some people here didnt give broner a round... you just posted that some guys had it tied after 7... Paulie who hates broner had it tied after 8. Live its hard for me to score a fight because i am paying attention to the fight itself.. however i usually watch it again to score it without the volume on because as you might know the commentators are usually cheering for one guy.

broner was out boxed, out hustled, outsmarted, out******, he lost in every

facet of the game, got beat the F up, pushed and fouled non stop and got

away with crazy stuff, rolled around looking for a way out.

i couldnt find one round to give to AB.


he has no footwork, no lateral movement and his power is FLASHY not real,

he doesnt hit through his target as MM does, he flashes with speed to the

front of it.


Broner will have 6 losses by the time he retires in 2-3 years.


He should figh Thurman next and get smashed again.

Maidana has a lot of options but this aside from Mayweather might be the most money he can get. Whatever he decides is good for him though. I think he's a stand up guy and wouldn't mind giving Broner his rematch.

As for Broner hopefully he's learned from the fight and looking to make adjustments to win. If this is just a pride thing and he doesn't humble himself and prepare properly for this fight it will be another long grueling painful loss.

Pmag was salty as hell that Broner got broke off. His discontent was all over his face in the post fight wrap up. Im guessing either hes mad because he wanted to be the one to beat Broner in a rematch, or that Chino did way better than he did against Broner. But yeah his scorecard was garbage. The sho scorecards were all off, because Broner was their future cashcow after all. The official judges had it a.bit better but not great. Such is life for Maidana. Honestly I think they would have found a way to give Broner the fight if not for the second kd and the humpback, which made Maidana's victory too emphatic to rob him. I suppose I should be grateful Chino wasnt robbed though, stranger things have happened in boxing.

I thought that was messed up too. Paulie coming up with such a biased card. It does happen sometimes in boxing though, its as if the boxer wants to believe that the guy that beat him was something special. Maybe Paulie didnt think much about Maidana and seeing how he destroyed the guy that took his belt and humiliated him pissed him some.
He was clearly offended about Broner saying he didnt train for the fight against him and that he worked so hard to face Maidana. Paulie said he shouldnt train hard if those were the results. That's BS. Had Broner been any less in shape, like when facing Paulie, Maidana would have murdered him.

Bronner showed courage? He was looking for a way out the entire second part of the fight! When he avoided Madiana he was moving so much because he was scared. His shoulder rolls were so wrong because he could not overcome his fear and stay in the pocket to roll without collapsing it, the result was his body twisting away...hardly a shoulder roll.

A few things are going on with this kid: He prolly thinks he can ***** out a decision against Madiana the way he did before with a guy like Ponce. In his mind if he has a few good rounds, is not knocked down the judges will favor him...it has happened before right?

The problem with the problem is there really is not many good prospects for him. This "champion" needs to look good and its hard to find a gimme. In his mind *****ing out a decision would solve the problem.

The fact that people think that the corrupt powers that put this reprobate in front of us will let him die a slow death is laughable. He surely is traumatized, being that he was outclassed but with the right judges anything can happen. This kid has talent, like a lot of other young fighters....his lack of morals and good judgement and his self appointed title of Floyd's little brother are what set him apart. Madiana would have to knock him out to win a decision. This is what boxing wants us to eat and whether we like it or not, this is what we get. If Madiana knocked Bronner's ****inng head off, they would sew it on and deduct a point for projectiles being thrown in the ring from madiana....Will we get the same corrupt texas judge on the payola as last time?
