other than him having a rematch clause, he really doesnt deserve one. i gave him MAYBE 2 rounds at most.

theyll put this on as the main undercard of may's con fight! and again, the main supporting bout will be the most exciting thing on a Floyd card.

other than broner being in better shape this time around, i think he'll lose again because he fights flat footed and is there to be hit plenty. i can even him getting ktfo this time.....

I like the rematch. I just hope Broner now realizes talk is cheap cause if he loses to Maidana again he'll be a has-been before there ever was

Agreed. the only reason broner could get an immediate rematch is because he was a heavy favorite going into the fight. He got his ass beat and should fight someone else first.

          That said, I wouldn't mind a broner/maidana 2 and mares/jhonny 2 card on showtime.

Maidana needs to move on to bigger and better things.

It's not a double standard, broner should get the rematch because he was the champ. The champ should always get a rematch if he loses. On the flip side, Maidana wasnt the champ so if he had lost in similar fashion he shouldn't get a rematch.

Now whether or not broner was legit champ at ww is another argument. But since he was the champ, he should be given a rematch. Much like barker should get a rematch with Sturm if he can actually continue fighting and he lost worst than broner did.

Maidana was his mandatory which requires no rematch.

AB said it was the best training camp he ever had. he said if he fought paulie with Maidanas training camp he would have Kod Paulie.
so he doesn't have to "realize" anything.
Maidana too big and strong/ horrible stylistic match up
Broner gets hit way too much.

First off, Broner is in no position to be calling for a re-match with Chino.
Maidana is the champ, and with rank, comes the privilege to be more selective as long as he's holding the belt. But wait and see, Broner supporters will be calling Marcos a "duck" with every passing day if Maidana doesn't bend to the so-called "public demand" for a totally unwarranted re-match.
My thought is, Broner and his people still see Chino as the most beatable champ between 140 1nd 147 with maybe the exception of Lamont Peterson.
Maybe they should attempt to re-build him with a Berto or Aydin fight -those are about the only high profile guys I can see him beating at this point.
