I would hate it if Guerrero were to fight and beat Manny, because that would surely bury the Pac vs May fight for good and there would be very little interest in a Guerrero rematch with Floyd.

You know you're talking about Top Rank, they're still trying to get a 5th Marquez fight, they will make Manny fight anyone until he gets a convincing victory( or in Marquez vs Pacquiao case, 1 victory)

These promoters take the entire financial risk of a fight if it doesn't live up to expectations, fill stadiums and PPV tickets for free? You work your contract til the end, if a fight doens't bring in enough revenue, the promoter alleviates his risk over a few fights.

LOL @ the thread title. Shocked? I doubt Richie Rich is that surprised. And he should let Guerrero go. Who cares, really? Not like he had any big plans for him...other than using him to make others look good. Pacquiao should fight Bradley but it looks like they want anyone but him. I wouldn't complain if he fought Guerrero in yet another tune-up but they shouldn't be surprised when his PPV #'s continue to look anemic.
