I've never called Floyd a runner in my life. I've called him boring, but never called him a runner.

So quote me all you want.

I wouldn't say Pacquiao ran. He moved forward, threw a combination, then spun outwards. That's how he likes to fight.

Pacquiao vs Rios was a farce...

I do not support safety first runners who blood drain fighters...

So if JMM KO Pac will Khan, Danny Ortiz or Matthyse? IMO Maidana might even beat Pac

True. And I don't know why Money Mayweather is avoiding the knockable Pac. Easy fight, easy money. ;-)

I think you are underrating Pacquiao a bit here. Khan? His predictable 1-2 combinations would get countered quickly by Pacquiao's straight left. Pacquiao could use his fast combinations to make Matthysse hesitant to throw. Ortiz would not have the mental strength, based on his history. Maidana strikes me as too vulnerable to the body. It's why I think Floyd might actually have a chance of stopping Maidana late if they fight. With Danny, you never know.

So a guy stands In the pocket and lands 4-5 punch combinations for 12 rounds , rolls out of harms way, comes back Into the line of fire to throw another 4-5 punch combination, yet this would be considered running? Pacquiao was In front of Rios to be hit, yet he was to slow and was to busy having his head used as a speed bag to worry about trying to hit back.

Sparring is that, but Khan did well. His speed troubles most people, it's his chin that makes him vulnerable. Khan wins rounds and is tall. Whether he lasts is one thing.

Matthyse has power and does land. He was winning 4-2 in my book until his eye shut VS Danny.

Ortiz is vulnerable mentally, but he did OK VS Floyd and has a style that could KO Pac. or be KO'd.

Maidana will test his chin, he actually is a proven 140 guy that lands on top fighters unlike Rios who is a punching bag.

Danny would do to Pac he did Morales. Pac will do a twist.

I guess it's because he knew he had the fight won the moment he signed for it. Also, he knew that Rios was an over matched opponent who posed no serious challenge to him. Therefore, he chose the cautious route in securing the victory rather than being too careless or reckless and going for the stoppage win.
