GGG has been fighting no-hoppers and has another one coming soon so why would HBO say no to the best fight he will have had in the last 2 years.

    Time to step up GGG.

This would definitely be GGG's next fight in April (whenever else rumoured) considering there are not many other viable opponents out there and Geale has also appeared on HBO in the past.

      Middleweight landscape is thinning.
      Barker; injured/career in question.
      Murray; cowering away/chasing Sturm
Sturm; will face anyone not named with a G
Geale; available and willing (after Wood ofcourse)
Martinez; fights annually - expect his fight with Cotto to be his one and only fight for the year
Chavez Jnr; bloated, obese and will be stuck at SMW

Expect this fight to be made once Adama is good boy'd.

So why would HBO be hesitant?

Because he was initially on there to build a fight up with golovkin, neither man was too keen of golovkin afterwards. Guess thy don't care now that he has no belt. I'd rather have that than Kirkland
Who gives a **** if he has a belt or not? It's still gonna be a 12 rounder and how many guys with a belt has GGG fought on HBO?

lol. Way to make a big deal about "Exploring other options"

HBO is trying to get the biggest **** for there buck for GGG's next fight.

They will negotiate with Sturm, Murray and Martinez (If he can't work it out with Cotto) If Geale still remains they will make him priority.

I wana hear what GGGs team have to say on this, they keep callin guys out apparently and no one wants to fight them. So lets hear what they have to say.
Well... And what did I say at #12?

Gah - this BS is so frustrating...in terms of boxing quality Geale is way above Kirkland, yet Kirkland might get the nod cos he's better known in the US?

Kirklands bounced around the 154 -168 divisions, fought just twice in 2 years and does f#kk all to raise GGGs credibility as the worlds premier MW.

I'm not even slagging the Mandingo Warrior down, cos he's a tough MFer, but really it's just a rerun of Stevens. Without a doubt Geale the ex title holder with both IBF and WBA is the prestige fight of the two.

Belt added leverage and interest to the fight. Gear still top level in the division, but HBO probably rating hunting. I'd love to see a mora fight but HBO hates him. Would've loved it in monaco, but that didn't work out. Kirkland got the highest viewer ship dec seventh.

If, and I mean if, what I think is happening, Kirkland will over price himself and they'll go with geale.
Probably looking to hard and HBO trying to negotiate

Best case scenario is if cotto fight doesn't go down, he fights Rubio to tune up and then golovkin
