TYSON FURY has signed a promotional deal with Frank Warren, according to the promoter. He will make his first appearance for Queensberry on February 15 at the Copper Box Arena with view to securing a June rematch with Dereck Chisora in a world title eliminator.
"Fury's signed a lengthy promotional deal," said Warren. "When Chisora and Fury fight again it will determine the leading contender in the world. It's a huge fight, a football stadium fight, and it's what the fans want to see. I have always had faith in Dereck and you will not find a more explosive and exciting contender on the planet."
Del Boy kicks on from his rejuvenating 2013 with a swift return to action on the same bill against unbeaten, albeit untested, Andriy Rudenko.
"I'm excited about fighting Fury again," said Chisora. "But I'm focused on this guy in February. It's a fight I have to win."
The heavyweight emerged from 2013 as Britain's in-form heavyweight, European king, and world title contender, with four wins that included victories over useful duo Malik Scott and Edmund Gerber.
Fury, who still has ties with Mick Hennessy, is expected to fight an overseas opponent in a 10-rounder.
Chisora's EBU belt will be on the line inside the Copper Box Arena, as the headline act with intriguing support from Liam Walsh-Gary Sykes (Commonwealth and vacant British super-featherweight titles), and title bouts for unbeaten prospects Frank Buglioni at super-middle, English welterweight boss, Bradley Skeete, and Tyson's cousin Hughie Fury.
