Tyson Fury signs with Frank Warren!!!

Actually shocked at this but here it is

    http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/late...warren#_/term_

TYSON FURY has signed a promotional deal with Frank Warren, according to the promoter. He will make his first appearance for Queensberry on February 15 at the Copper Box Arena with view to securing a June rematch with Dereck Chisora in a world title eliminator.

"Fury's signed a lengthy promotional deal," said Warren. "When Chisora and Fury fight again it will determine the leading contender in the world. It's a huge fight, a football stadium fight, and it's what the fans want to see. I have always had faith in Dereck and you will not find a more explosive and exciting contender on the planet."

Del Boy kicks on from his rejuvenating 2013 with a swift return to action on the same bill against unbeaten, albeit untested, Andriy Rudenko.

"I'm excited about fighting Fury again," said Chisora. "But I'm focused on this guy in February. It's a fight I have to win."

The heavyweight emerged from 2013 as Britain's in-form heavyweight, European king, and world title contender, with four wins that included victories over useful duo Malik Scott and Edmund Gerber.

Fury, who still has ties with Mick Hennessy, is expected to fight an overseas opponent in a 10-rounder.

Chisora's EBU belt will be on the line inside the Copper Box Arena, as the headline act with intriguing support from Liam Walsh-Gary Sykes (Commonwealth and vacant British super-featherweight titles), and title bouts for unbeaten prospects Frank Buglioni at super-middle, English welterweight boss, Bradley Skeete, and Tyson's cousin Hughie Fury.

So Fury talked all that **** about not giving Del Boy a rematch & it's looking like he'll have to fight him again now?

Hope Del Boy does the business.

Surprised by this, but the Chisora-Fury rematch happening isn't all that bad, the winner would be fast tracked into contention for the WBC vacant belt in my opinion. Chisora was talking of winning a title this year I believe and Fury needs a fight to get big time attention like the Haye one would have.

I hope Chisora wins it though...

      Maybe Wilder fights the winner?

        Surprising.

I don't know why fighters get with Warren it seems all the opportunities are with Hearn.

A step up from Mick Hennesey though.

Mick Hennessey is still involved here is Frank Warren's recent tweet from his twitter page -

''We look forward to working with Tyson, Peter Fury, Mick Hennessey, Hughie Fury and the rest of the team.''

K2 should have signed him instead.

Strange move. I would have thought Sky would have wanted him on their network, he was doing a pretty good job promoting the Haye fight and he's in the position to make some pretty excting fights very soon.

Still the Chisora fight should be fun at least!

Warren did say Fury had 'signed a lengthy promotional contract' though

Mick Hennessy is still Tyson and Hughie's promoter. It is simply a deal to get them on Boxnation.
