I don't understand Mayweather's intentions with all these attacks of Pacquiao. If its out of insecurity and spite, then its uncalled for. If its drum up hype for the fight because he believes it could happen in 2015 then it isn't as bad considering its par for the course when it comes to boxing.

I doubt Floyd said that. This is an interview from floydhype.com. Being the ever professional journalist that he is, and Rob Arum is what Ben Thompson always call Arum so I'm pretty it was his idea to insert that in the interview.

Anyway, the context was Ben asking Floyd why he doesn't want to do business with Arum.

BT: Touch on that for a minute if you can. I know we've talked about it in the past, but why don't you want to do business with Arum? He recently came on record and said you guys have a good relationship.

Floyd Mayweather: I don't have a good relationship with him. Why does he want to do business with a coward? When I left [Top Rank], he said something about I was scared of Antonio Margarito and all this, right? Where's he at now and where am I at? They claimed Castillo won the fight; where's he at now and where am I at?

So basically Floyd doesn't want to do business with Arum because he hurt his feelings when he said Floyd was afraid of Margarito.

Maybe, it's both. Floyd's insecurity never ceases to amaze me. I don't have a problem with him not wanting to do anything with Arum. Floyd holds a grudge over how Arum has outplayed in the media throughout the years.
