Why bring it up, lol? You, me, Floyd, Pac, the world already knows Floyd wouldn't have made that fight. You think about this....right now as desperate as Pac is, Floyd has all the negotiating leverage in the world. Why not make the fight now, when he could probably get away with a 70-30 split or even 80-20? Oh, yeah, Arum is the problem now. Floyd is a complete joke, man.

    • Can you Pacquiao fans understand this: If you were in a business partnership with one other person and you made millions and millions, but come to find out you don't have much but the other person has millions galore cuz he cheated and scammed you......THEN you went off to start your own business and it turned it into one of the best businesses in the world, NOW the same person who robbed and stole from you wants to do business with you, even tho you'll make money you'll also make the person who stole from you more money than they have ever made before.....So tell me, would you do business with him?

This is the exact same situation going on with Floyd and Arum, and we all know where each person fits in the story above.......

Yea he should have....Floyd didn't have a problem taking lower money and beating DLH. Look where it got him now....Pacquiao missed the train on that one...lol

        • He speaking the truth though some don't want to hear it and has already said he's not working with arum which we all know. PAC came out and said fight won't be till at least next year. I'm sure after all this PAC also wants to get away to maximize profits.

What I'm wondering is where does Floyd say he will not fight PAC once he leaves Arum? Are you all assuming?

So he wouldn't have made the fight even though he initiated the negotiation, eventually agreed to 50/50 even though at the start he was adamant it wouldn't happen, agreed to a $10m weight penalty and then bdged on giving a cutoff on ost, which was asked for from day dot, and didn't become an issue until after floyd conceded on everything he said he wouldn't?

You're smarter than that. I bring it up because we have people saying he never wanted this fight, when in reality he tried to make it happen and manny turned it down over ost.

I guarantee you if manny becomes a free agent and gives floyd the terms he wants the fight will happen. The sad part for manny is that those terms won't even be close to the 50/50 split right down the line on all revenue sources because he is no longer negotiating from a position of strength.

Furthermore it is mayweather taking all the financial risk of the fight bwing delayed or cancelled as he is putting in the initial outlay for site fees and promotions. So why would he let tr and gbp co promote? It means less mony for him, when he can just pay goldrn boy a fee for the logistics of the promotion and not the cost. If manny had any brains he wpyldn't have re signed with arum last time, went straight to floyd and said let's co promote our own fight. I will contract tr and you can contract gbp. I will pay 40% of costs and you 60% and after we pay the promoters for logistics and the network is paid, we can split the remaining revenue sources on that 60/40 basis

                • I used to idolize money may not too long ago. But recents events and statements he's made have opened my eyes to see that he truly is the biggest coward in the sport of boxing, hands down.
