For Floyd to offer Pac 40 million when Pac is in a contract would be illegal for Pac and Floyd also. Breaching a contract and Floyd would be a conspirator and would be held liable as well.

He is right in a lot of his comments but just a couple fights ago, Mayweather had the same tax problems and he has the same ******** problem. The HUGE difference is Mayweather has Al Haymon and Manny has Bob Arum. Al Haymon is a brilliant, honest business man who doesn't steal from his fighters but actually makes them a lot of money. While Arum is dishonest and his first and only priority is how much Arum can make and he gives his fighters just enough to keep them.

I always assumed he was the same kinda dodgy double-dealing duplicitous back-stabbing crook as other promoter/managers (oh, wait a minute there aren't any - wonder why that is?). Floyd actually owns his housing properties. No mortgage. His biggest expense on his homes would be property tax and utilities. He's already ahead of Tyson, Holyfield, etc, in that regard. That's why it pays to have a good adviser like Haymon, rather than a Michael Konz.

yes im quite aware that floyd owns his home. bought and paid for already. its the taxes that will kill him. I live in texas in a gated community 3 bedroom home and my property taxes amount to almost 4k not including the homeowners fee which is creeping up close to 7 hundred.

now imagine how much floyd is paying for his mega mansion in a high standard of living city like las vegas. Al Haymon can only do so much.

Just remember floyd had money problems during his prime earning years. Imagine what is going to happen when he is no longer making 30 million purses and he's been gone from the game for a good 5-10 years.

Just look at kobe bryant, dude made 25 mill, it was reported by the time the goverment got their hands on it, he came home with around 11-12 mill.
