If you want to look at it from a technical standpoint, then don't forget to take into account' Pacquiao's boxing ability.

Although I agree I don't know what Pac would do when duran forced the fight on the inside. I didn't say Duran wouldn't win i'm just saying it would have been a good fight.
There is no debate that Duran's ability is better than Pac's. Absolutely none. Again this doesnt mean Pac is awful or anything, it just is what it is.

I can see Duran setting Pacquiao up for a tremendous counter, and then smothering him and unloading with body shots while he's hurt.

But I can also see pacquiao fighting from that, while hurt, and catching duran himself, and then pushing him back with his own combinations.

And then duran countering him again and both of them refusing to back up. And so on. It's a fight that will test both their hearts because neither of them will let the other take the lead, and this will continue for 12 rounds until the final bell.

While Duran was easily the better technician the speed advantage is still largely in Manny's favor. Manny's speed is the equalizer for all of his fights.

At 147, Duran beat quite possibly the greatest welterweight of all time. It was a hell of a war though.

Pac is great at 147 but is he greater? I'm not so sure, I think Duran takes it, by a razor thin SD. But who cares who win or loses, this would just be an epic fight.
