In this fight, you have two guys that know how to put the hurt and both of them do not quit and only respond by fighting harder. They fight with their hearts first and their minds second and their hearts will both be tested.

This is the type of fight that history remembers.

    What?

Anyway, I don't think you've seen much of Duran, because he definitely wasn't someone who fought with his mind "second." He'd morphed into a complete boxer-puncher by the mid 70's, and that's generally how he fought from that point on.

Who says you can't fight with both?(Mind/heart) Duran was from your generation and Pacquiao is from mine. That's my assessment pf Duran from what I've seen, which isn't as much as the people from your generation have.

Duran. He had the defense that Pac does not. While Pac is tenacious, its nothing compared to Duran

It would go down as the classic of classics. The greatest fight of all time. That's all I know.

There is less than 1% chance Duran would lose if they are both at their best. Pac's a great, great fighter but Duran's best is at the highest level of a fighter you can be. He's great among all time greats.

Do you even know how fighting works?

Every time you get in the ring, it's a 50/50 fight. It's fighting. It's not a computer algorithm.

Duran can get caught staring, get clipped with a laser left hand, and it's Manny's fight from there. Duran could catch Manny on the ropes, catch him with a devastating uppercut, and it's all Duran from there.

So many variables when we're talking about these 2 specific fighters.

No one is going to turn into a pumpkin to simply acknowledge that PAc would not win this fight. Its friggin Duran. No shame in that.

Pacquiao is very much of my generation; I wasn't even born when Duran beat Barkley. I've simply seen enough of Duran to know he's a vastly superior technician to Pacquiao. Manny is incredibly limited and ordinary in comparison from a technical point of view.

Oh well I was looking at the fight from a physical prime match-up.

If you want to look at it from a technical standpoint, then don't forget to take into account's Pacquiao's boxing ability as well

Although I agree I don't know what Pac would do when duran forced the fight on the inside. I didn't say Duran wouldn't win i'm just saying it would have been a good fight.
