Perfect fight for Wilder. KJ is very durable, has limited output and will talk a good enough game to get interest from networks.
A ko win would really put Wilder on the map, but hopefully he will be taken a few rounds and we will finally be able to see some intangiblesComment

Imagine if Manny was alive to train Wilder. Wilder has plenty of technical flaws, but you should never under estimate his power.Comment

Johnson is right about Wilders ability but hes not the guy who could expose him.
I saw Johnsons last fight, he was not even trying to win and lost to a bum called
Christian Hammer. It was one of the most pathetic and boring HW fights of 2013.
You always had the feeling Johnson could easily beat the guy if he really wanted but he just didnt care.....Comment

I been saying this about Johnson for awhile. he had chris byrd syndrome. solid boxer who nobody wanted to fight. no one was ducking him but he had a tough style & is tough as nails. big risk little reward saying followed him for years. kingpin called out everyone. vitali gave him a shot well before he was ready. he may not have won prizefighter but you could see he saw it as an opportunity to get his name internationally again. he could only get work sparring guys then he lost in PF & it snowballed. England was familiar with him so he jumped at the chance for the fury fight. he went in to sparring partner mode. been to austarlia, Germany, NZLD, England to fight since. he couldn't get any fights in America. singing with fury playing the piano was a great idea. kingpin can talk a good game (good for promoting the fight). he is a loud mouth & so is fury but them singing together was a totally different way of promoting a fight. 2 of the biggest loudmouths who you think would be hurling insults & punches but instead they sing a piano duet. BRILLIANT! he will take his 3 fights\year at $50000 a fight & whatever he can make sparring. you won't see the best kingpin ever again. he is getting more fights as a travelling gatekeeper. if he is smart he could make 100000-200000\ year for the next couple years if he sticks to what he is doing. making more money & travelling to be an opponent to whomever pays the best. it obviously is helping him financially because until he lost a couple fights he should have won his phone wasn't ringing. if he's smart he will open a gym or something with the money he makes...Johnson is right about Wilders ability but hes not the guy who could expose him.

because he knows he is not very skilled and has a paper record against guys who are in there to be ko wins for him. I would pick Kingpin to win a wide UD, I see nothing in Wilder other than a hard telegraphed overhand right.Comment
