I know it's cool around this forum to claim or imply that everyone is "ducking", but shouldn't we wait until Ward actually moves up to 175lb before we accuse him of avoiding people like Kovalez..........

Ward is the best fighter from 160 on up, if Kovalev wants to take an L, I'm all for it. Hopefully GGG team won't all of a sudden move to 168 when Ward moves up to 175. But honestly, Stevenson is the guy Ward should be looking at. These idiotic boxing scene fan boys can stand on their opinions all they want, fact of the matter is that Adonis is the Lineal Champ at the weight, he's the man to beat, not Sergey. Now if Kovalev by some miracle is able to beat Adonis, then he becomes a priority. Until then, it's not a necessary bout.

There is still a lot of money that Ward can make before he leaves the division for good. He should maximize those earnings, the 175 pounders will still be there for him when he's finished.

Kovalev just called the man out, it's been an hour and a half and you're alluding that Ward is ducking the man. Andre probably has no clue that Sergey even made these comments and you're jumping the gun without allowing Andre to respond. My point is, calm your hoe ass down dude. It's a good matchup, but the Lineal Champ at 168 fighting the Lineal Champ at 175 sounds like a better matchup. I know you're eager because you're a true believer in miracles but relax boy. If Kovalev by some miracle can beat Adonis, then you'll get your wish for the fight, if not, Kovalev remains a non priority.
