Here is what needs to happen:

GGG needs to stay at MIDDLEWEIGHT and unify with Martinez/Cotto.

Ward needs to stay at SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT, at least for now and face Froch/Groves. Seeing him being talked about as a potential opponent for 175's like Kovalev, who should be fighting Adonis Stevenson and vice versa.

Nobody move up or down from their weight class. STAY WHERE YOU ARE and stop diluting the match-up's we already want. Forget Ward Vs Golovkin and forget Ward Vs Kovalev.

I find it ridiculous that folks think Ward is ducking Kovalev, Stevenson, GGG, or whoever else they think can beat Ward. Sure Kovalev would like to fight Ward. It would be his biggest payday. The same with Stevenson and GGG.
Here's an interview of Ward's where he addresses you haters and your comments about him going to 175 or staying at 168. The sad part is ,after you read it you will still try and call Ward a coward or say he's ducking someone just because you hate him. Some people or just so sad and sorry.

Bad fight for Ward, he'd risk it all for a couple of dollars.
Kovalev is well known to hardcore boxingfans, but not so much to the casuals,
just like Ward... so there is the problem.
I guess he rather takes on B-hop or Froch again, he wants a big moneyfight.
Froch would be another mismatch and beating Bhop is maybe not the legacy building block hes looking for, just because hes so old haha.
I'd rather see him take on Stevenson, both KOd Dawson, both HBO and if they do it in Canada it could be pretty big too.

              Why I'm not surprised?
Ward will beat "Kov" and his Russian boxing school if they ever fight. I'd be willing to bet on it.

Andre doesn't want to move up yet though so he remains a 168 pounder not a light heavyweight.

Ward doesn't have enough $$ to retire comfortably at the moment.....unfortunately for him I see nothing but hard fights at 175. I bet he'd take that $3-$4M offer to fight Froch in England. His only choice right now is for Stephenson to make good on that previous offer to fight Ward in Oakland at 168, in exchange for a fight in Quebec at 175 (which he won't do of course).

                  Stevenson is the lineal champ..

I agree. Kovalev and Golovkin have obvious, must happen matchups in their divisions. Ward has a few possible fights that aren't huge, but would be nice to see.

Let those happen before anyone jumps divisions to fight each other.
