Ward needs to either lure Golovkin to 168 or move to 175 and fight Kovalev or Stevenson. The options at 168 are pretty thin right now, unfortunately he seems to be waiting patiently for Chavez jr to beat Vera and hopefully look good. Ward had his relatively tough tune up, time to continue justifying his #2 p4p status against the very best.

Sure, if you want to create your own (strange) version of lineage go ahead

However, I don't agree with denouncing a pretty universal acceptance of current 175 lineage..

I think you forget, lineages don't always show 'the best', though more often than not they end up with the fighters who are... it only shows you have beaten the best in that current lineage

Ward to move down? At 160?
Are that scared that the big SOG won't make it even at 168 against Kov?

It's not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing. It's just a fact, Stevenson has beat the man who beat the man etc.

          Kovalev hasn't.

Golovkin is no "lineal champ", Kov the same...
... But Why Ward wants to fight smaller Golovkin instead of Kovalev?
... Actually nobody else is calling Ward... Kov just did it!

Oh i get it, the word lineal expains it all lol. just think its funny the way people put weight in that over unifying.

Ward is looking suspect right now, and so are a few others. So many critics criticize Mayweater for ducking fights, but he went up in weight and beat Cotto and Canelo, yet GGG, Ward, Chavez Jr., and Martinez have not done the same. At least Kovalex has been seeking Stevenson and Hopkins, and not calling out the smaller men.

Correct. Neither man is considered to be the real champion of their division yet.
